The Deputy General Counsel will report to SSgA's Global General Counsel and will be responsible for:

Experience

The qualified candidate must have a minimum of fifteen years of legal experience preferably in both a law firm and an internal financial services legal department. Must have significant expertise within the mutual funds, registered investment advisory arena. Meaningful private and alternative investment fund experience is also required. Experience working with or for the Securities and Exchange Commission is a plus.  Experience working directly in an investment management company is also strongly preferred.
