Deputy Insurance Manager recruitment

The purpose and core requirements of the job is to ensure that Trafigura have adequate support within the Insurance Department to manage with the growth and increase in storage capacity and the assets that Trafigura own and operate. This role will also support the Group Insurance Manager on a day to day basis when required and cover for them during their absence.

Main purpose of role:                                  

To support Group Insurance Manager

People Management Responsibility:     One Senior Insurance Analyst.  There will be monitoring of outsourced team based in Mumbai of 3 people.

Role

The role is broken down into five main areas:

1.           Managing insured and uninsured losses

2.    Insurance Policy Renewals

3.       Storage

Oil Storage

Non Ferrous storage

4.       Risk Analysis

5.       Technical Advice

 As required to provide technical advice to operations on aspects such as:

Experience

Candidate should have circa 5-10 years' work experience in commercial insurance, in house and/or broking environment with specific knowledge of claims handling in the context of marine cargo and property policies.
