Deputy MLRO
A unique opportunity has arisen within the Compliance function of a global energy trading firm. Our client is recruiting for a Deputy MLRO to assist in the running of their KYC programme.
The successful candidate will be required to cover for the MLRO and act as a senior AML/KYC technical adviser to approve exceptions and deal with escalations. The primary duties will be development and maintenance of the KYC/AML Programme and to provide leadership to staff. You will also need to provide strategic input on design and implementation of policies and objectives.
To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have a strong technical understanding of UK and International AML rules and regulations and have significant experience within a senior KYC/AML function. You will need to be an expert in MiFID and an accomplished leader of people. You will ideally come from a commodities background and it is essential that you have financial services exposure.
