Hays are currently recruiting for a Derivative Client Service Specialist to work for a large global banking organisation based in Bournemouth. The Client Information Management team provides support to Derivative Settlement teams ensuring a smooth settlements process for Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Swaps and Equity Derivatives between the Investment Banks and their EMEA client base, covering Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Corporate, Financial Institutions, Governments and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV).

The CIM team is responsible for maintenance of Client Profiles including Settlement Instructions and contact details, Service Level Agreements, Nostro codes and successful generation transmission of Settlement Advices and Confirmations to clients.

Key Responsibilities

· Risk Mitigation (Operational, Financial and Reputation).
· Provide Quality Client Service.
· Ensure all reference data requests are completed accurately and incoming enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
· Resolve any outstanding issues with adherence to Internal Rules and Targets.
· Build and maintain excellent working relationships with external clients, Middle Offices and Internal IBOD teams.
· Identify and investigate the root cause of errors/issues, implement solutions to resolve.
· Active participation in process improvement initiatives.

· Strong Risk and Control Awareness
· Experience in an operational/financial services/customer services environment advantageous but not essential
