Derivative Sales Executive

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing short-term and long-term strategic plans related to sales leads, product direction and market opportunities. Manage and control the entire sales cycle ensuring timely and accurate reporting of opportunity and deal tracking. Conduct tailored presentations and demonstrations by thoroughly assessing prospects needs and translating those needs into product benefit statements throughout the sales presentation. Develop account plans identifying all major business opportunities within your territory. Develop the necessary sales strategy and tactics to close identified business opportunities. Work with more technical colleagues in the presales phase. Develop and maintain executive level relationships at prospects and clients and be able to leverage these relationships when required.

To qualify for this position you must be a proven sales professional in the financial software space with a consistent track record of sales success. You must be experienced in selling complex high value solutions to large financial institutions with experienced of managing complex solutions sales and navigating and negotiating at senior levels. You must have experience of managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to through to contract negotiation and close. Ideally you should have strong business knowledge in derivatives, equities and general financial markets knowledge.

Excellent interpersonal communications skills are essential for this role including both presentation and written. You should also have a degree and have been selling with the financial software arena for at least 3 years. This is an exciting opportunity with enormous scope and great prospects.
