Derivatives expert for permanent role in Manchester city centre for leading global investment management and services company. They assist clients in managing and moving their financial assets, being a single point of contact for clients as they look to create, trade, hold, manage, service, distribute or restructure investments.

Candidates will be required to undertake an analyst role in derivative initiatives for existing and new clients. They will be part of the derivative service group management team and be participating in representing the company to the clients whilst continually looking to improve their service and profitability. As such they will act as a subject matter expert to product offerings, client requirements and best fit analysis.
Duties
Co-ordination and on boarding of new and existing clients
Provide solutions to client’s derivative servicing needs
Understanding and documenting client requirements
Making recommendations based on current and future derivative offerings
Communicating with other departments to enhance and improve service offerings
Represent the company and their services by participating in visits, calls, and presentations
Creating and maintaining documentation to be used in sales presentations
Reporting to the team manager and working with them to determine and agree best solutions to the clients needs
Keep up to date with the company’s internal systems and industry knowledge
Participate in internal strategy initiatives and new product offerings to improve service
Skills
Project management experience
Knowledge of derivates and custody services-including collateral management, portfolio reconciliation, lifecycle events, trade/cash communication
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of the industry
High attention to detail
Experience in sales presentations and liaising with high profile clients
