Derivatives Lawyer – Part-time recruitment
The workload will include negotiating OTC and exchange-traded derivatives documentation, but this is a varied role and you will have the opportunity to work closely with the business and other legal teams globally on a range of derivatives issues. You must be familiar with the ISDA Master Agreement and CSA. An understanding of asset management and/or financial services is desirable, but previous in-house experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting and negotiating OTC derivatives documentation, including ISDA Agreements, Credit Support Annexes, master confirmation agreements and non-standard trading documentation requiring long form confirmations
- Drafting and negotiating amendments to exchange-traded derivatives documentation, including futures agreements and give-up agreements
- Supporting the front office and operations teams with any derivatives-related work and providing timely updates on current issues and regulations
- Assisting with updates to derivatives documents as a result of regulatory developments or industry initiatives
- Assisting the UK Legal team with general matters such as non-disclosure agreements
