This respected banking institution based in the CBD currently has a vacancy within their Derivatives operations team. There has been an increase in volumes due to new business and they're now seeking a high performing Derivative Operations Specialist to help them drive a high performing culture.
As a Derivatives Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the confirmation and settlement of a portfolio of transactions. Working as part of a dynamic team environment, you will cover a variety of products including interest rate and cross currency swaps, FRAs, credit derivatives, interest rate options (caps, floors and collars) Inflation Swaps, Tailored Deposits and swaptions. You will also be responsible for reconciling the cleared trade portfolio daily and ensuring adherence to the latest Derivative legislation (Dodd Frank Act).
We're looking for a high performing Derivative Operations Specialist, someone who is a team player with strong problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the square. Knowledge of Derivative legislation such as the Dod Frank Act will be highly regarded as will experience with Exigo, Markitwire and SWIFT
