Role

Derivative Pricing and Valuations is a global valuations function that provides daily independent valuation services to rapidly expanding number of Fund Accounting, Custody and IOO clients. Services include daily price control, valuation reconciliations, dispute investigations/resolution and quantities analysis.

As part of our continued expansion in the derivatives area we now have an opening for a Valuations Specialist in the EMEA DPV Team.

• This role requires an experienced OTC valuations expert who has an excellent knowledge of all OTCs (Commodities OTC an advantage) and Indices.

• You will work with Head of EMEA DPV as a subject matter expert and problem solver for the team; ensuring action plans are implemented in case of any service issues.

• Develop workflows and procedures relating to valuations to support existing and prospective client’s servicing needs.

• Establish and drive strong relationships with clients and maintain regular client contact to ensure that satisfaction levels are high

• Day-to-day interaction with other departments to prevent/resolve issues

• Drive enhancement projects for technology and operational processes

• Provide coaching, training, and leadership to the valuations team.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Graduate/post graduate degree in Accounting, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics or related field or a professional certification in the financial discipline – ideally CFA.

• Experience of OTC Derivative products and valuations is required.

• Strong theoretical and practical product knowledge across all asset classes.

• Experience with quantitative pricing models.

• Substantive experience managing complex operational processes.

• Experience in complex project leadership.

• Significant knowledge of standard industry pricing services and related applications.

• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a strong control environment.

• Excellent communication skills, including written, listening and presentation abilities.

• Exceptional client relationship management skills.

• Strong to expert excel skills would also be highly desirable.
