Design Assurance Engineer
Adecco Engineering Technical is currently interviewing for a Design Assurance Engineer to take on a permanent position in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The Design Assurance Engineer will be responsible for participating within product development teams that provides quality-related technical support. As a team member, the Design Assurance Engineer will provide recommendations for system improvements concentrating on new product development and manufacturing. In addition the Design Assurance Engineer will manage failure analysis activities for production fall-out and product returns, and support value engineering activities for the product life cycle. Additional responsibilities and qualifications are as follows: QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related field 4 years of hands-on Quality and Quality Engineering, Test Verification, or Systems Engineering experience in a manufacturing and product development team environment. Experience with the development of new products and processes, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design of Experiments (DOE) and/or other experimental methods, and project planning is required. Experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Military Specifications, and ISO/AS quality management standards knowledge/experience is a plus. Technical competence in electro-mechanical systems design, methods of measurement for physical properties of materials, and fluency in laboratory test methods. Hands-on manufacturing skills and understand project planning and scheduling. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification a plus.
