The Behavioral Science Organization supports PG's Innovation pipeline by helping initiative teams create innovative breakthrough products, packages and concepts. Our work integrates cutting edge insights from a broad cross section of Design relevant disciplines such as Behavioral Economics, Visual Science, Biomimicry, Evolutionary Psychology, and Anthropology. We then apply these principles to a broad range of design challenges, and support the resulting innovation by nurturing select projects and supporting them through initial prototyping and preliminary consumer research.
This role is designed to offer you the opportunity to take a leadership role in the design of diverse range of products and packages, and may include managing the interface with Design firms, PG Marketing, RD, and Sales organizations.
The role may also offer the opportunity to engage in 'hands on' rapid cycle prototyping, modeling, and qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
In addition to design skills, potential candidates should have strong communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and be willing to work independently and learn new skills in a fast paced environment.
The majority of Cooperative positions are available in Cincinnati.

Qualifications:
- Candidate must currently be enrolled in a bachelor's and/or master's degree program in Industrial Design and have completed at least a minimum of two to three years of their education.
- Cooperatives rotate on a quarterly basis, therefore individual must be eligible to complete a 12 week session. Sessions coincide with the seasons; winter, spring, summer, fall.
- Current resume and portfolio that demonstrates design expertise.
- Strong foundation of technical mastery in 2-D, 3-D or Visual Communications design.
- Independent thinking that demonstrates commitment for your ideas.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
- Ability to set priorities and maintain them.
- Desire to champion and improve effective work processes.
- Oral communication that is clear, concise and effective across cultural boundaries.
- Exceptional collaboration skills.
- Candidate must have an excellent sense for great design and trends and a passion for influencing others on where design can add value.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
