Tier 1 International private bank with a strong balance sheet and high tier 1 capital that propose a high level of services in advisory and investment solutions. They have a category 1 license, the broadest license granted by Dubai Financial Service Authority. They have a incredibly strong reputation internationally and a good platform - making it an attractive proposition for bankers and clients alike.

The candidate will be given a large mandate to fulfill the role in the way they see fit reporting directly into the Head of Private Banking. This also offers a rare opportunity as the candidate will inherit both a portfolio of clients and a team of RMs while also charged with increasing the Banks share of the Middle East market.

Responsibilities:

• Run clients investment portfolio
• Manage already existing relationships
• Run both Discretionary Advisory Mandates
• Bring client contact list/book of clients
• Manage a team of 7 RM’s
• Responsible for relevant strategy
• Responsible for all hiring – have a budget for two senior private bankers 2013
• Be client-facing

Requirements:

• 10 years or more
• High level experience of Multi-Asset class investing:
• Equities
• Fixed Interest
• Hedge Funds
• Private Equity
• Experience/Good Knowledge of trading futures, options, equities
• Appropriate qualifications – CFA, CISI etc.
• Undergraduate Degree minimum required
• Currently or have experience in managing a portfolio of $150 million plus
