Desktop Support Engineer [Ref:Desktop Support Engineer (KM)] recruitment

Your Role:

Desktop hardware/software installation and troubleshooting. Conduct PC setup and management with proper configuration
Provide Help Desk hotline and technical support to users
Relocation for desktop items and maintains the correct inventory record
Log all incident and request cases on the call logging system. Keep customers informed on request status and progress and update the cases. Close the cases upon confirmation with users
Assist in new system or application implementations
Handle server backup/restore operations and system maintenance
Work with internal and external IT system owners to solve technical issues
Account Administration tasks or coordination. (New Joiner Leaver)
Blackberry and Cisco IP Phone setup
Network patching

Your Profile:

Diploma holder or above of Computer Science/Information Systems or related disciplines
At least 3-year with hands-on experience to end-users in helpdesk, desktop, network and messaging system support
Investment banking experience will be advantageous but not mandatory
Able to work under pressure
Responsible and committed team player with strong interpersonal skills
Good command of both written and spoken English
Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented
Excellent troubleshooting skills and able to follow process and procedure.
Sound knowledge of network protocols and Windows related services, including TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, DNS, WINS and DHCP
Able to work both independently and as a team player
Able to learn quickly and work under a fast paste environment
Work in shift and rotation base (Monday 2:00am)
