Current Need
The Desktop System Manager will provide strategic management. This position will serve as liaison between team members and management and will be responsible for planning, directing, organizing and supervising assigned project and subordinate personal. This position will also provide immediate supervision to a group of employees. Will train and develop staff and ensures adherence to all standards and Managed Services Best Practices
Position Description
Responsible for managing the activities and personnel associated with providing technical services to internal or external customers by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems with desktop, laptop and networked systems. Ensures that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked and resolved. May evaluate new software requirements or analyze available equipment capabilities. Maintains data integrity and security for desktop systems. Responds to customer issues, maintains work logs, and manages vendor relations
Minimum Requirements
2+ years experience in desktop and networked systems support and demonstrated leadership skills
Education
4-year degree or related field or equivalent experience
