Position Description:
PIMCO is a global investment solutions provider with more than 1,700 dedicated professionals in 11 countries focused on a single mission: to manage risks and deliver returns for our clients. As part of that mission we develop applications for internal use to help us value securities and manage risk. We need outstanding software developers to help us support business users on daily basis and deliver dynamic in timely solutions. We are looking for a skilled software engineer with strong quantitative skill, good understanding of financial business and problem solving skills. This role will directly interactive with the business users to resolves, understand the requirements and develop the systems for their needs in timely manner.

Essential Qualifications
• 5+ years C# and .Net experience.
• Intensive experiences in Sybase and Oracle. Good understanding stored procedures.
• Working experience with multi-tier technologies.
• Understanding of fixed income and equity business. Experience at a sell-side financial institution. (Front office experience will be a big plus)
• Excellent trouble shooting and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and willing to working under a high pressure environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
