Developer / Programmer – Business Objects XI R2, Universe SQL Script, – Insurance/Financial Services Job in London, London Uk

An experienced Developer required with solid experience of delivering MI Solutions using Business Objects/Web Intelligence running over SQL Server using SQL Server Management Studio with both designer and reporting knowledge.

 

Responsibilities

·         Work with other team members and business users to analyse, design and develop SQL scripts to run through Business Objects and QlikView

·         Undertake hands-on development testing

·         Design and Build Business Objects reports conforming to “House Styles”

·         Production of appropriate documentation to support new and amended systems

·         Ensure that all work is fully documented and that changes to systems holding financial data are SOX compliant

·         All work to comply with standards and procedures

 

Experience of the following is desirable:

·         Working knowledge of Access Databases and Visual Basic 

·         Experience working with Sequels’ Eclipse Underwriting Application

·         Knowledge of SQL’s SSRS/SSIS services
