Seeking an excellent technical developer with the capability to build and then lead a brand new team and deliver a first class new application for the Equity Derivatives business of this leading bank.
You will have a solid career within the industry and in-depth software engineering knowledge across a range of technologies and genuine expertise in either C# or Java (or both!).
You will be building a team of both C# GUI and Java Server Application developers and will need the ability to fully understand and guide, where necessary, developers of either skill set.
You will be able to shape the team and contribute your own ideas on the architecture, design, tools and processes used on the project.
There will be opportunity for natural career growth within the wider Equity Derivatives area as well as the rest of the firm for the ambitious.
Technical knowledge
- Very strong Java and/or C# skills
- Detailed knowledge of designing and building high performance Equity Derivative pricing and volatility systems
- Team leadership
- Communication and business analysis skills
- Agile project management
- Equity Derivatives pricing, products and systems
- Listed Equity Derivatives markets, products and trading
Bonus Experience
- Experience of designing and building complex trading and pricing frontends
