Permanent Part-Time Position

The Australian Festival of Chamber Music (AFCM) is recognised as the most prestigious international chamber music event in Australia. Held in Townsville each July, the Festival has an enviable global reputation for the quality of its musicians, programming and presentation.

As a not-for-profit organisation, the AFCM relies on funding from all three levels of government, sponsorships and donations, and box office sales. The role of Development manager is the lead role in identifying and acquiring corporate and individual sponsors, attracting donations and managing Festival membership.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels of business and government; and a sound understanding of sponsorship management, sales and marketing.

Your past experience will have been in a relevant field in sales, business development, sponsorship or marketing.
