My client is looking to recruit a development team leader to join their software development department, the successful candidate will lead a team of .Net developers and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of complex software development projects.
This is not a hands on role however you must have a good technical background in .Net development to be able to provide support and guidance to the team.
Responsibilities include:
• Management and personal development of team members
• Work allocation
• Managing software development projects
• Close interaction with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Architects
• Providing regular reports to Development Manager
• Help define strategy and process
Candidate profile:
• Experience leading a development team
• Proven technical experience in .Net and SQL Server development
• Exposure to structured methodologies, Agile, RUP and Waterfall
• Knowledge of UML
• Strong staff development and coaching experience
• Knowledge of requirements analysis and software design
• Any project management experience a benefit
This role would suit a senior developer / team leader looking to move away from hands on technical work into a more management focuses role.
