Leading agency is looking to hire a Digital Account Director to work across a varied number of top clients

They provide market-leading media planning and buying and creative services across all media channels, with particular expertise in emerging media: digital, data, direct, sports, entertainment, experiential, branded content and PR.
The Role
To support and manage the digital media team in providing first class service to clients, as well as delivering quality and innovative solutions for clients on time
To take a key role in managing the digital planning and buying, reporting to a Group Account Director
Key Responsibilities
- To manage and provide support to the Account Executives and Managers
- To proactively manage client expectations
- To display a deep understanding of digital media and make strategic recommendations to clients
- To supervise / undertake additional projects beyond client responsibilities as requested (new business pitches, market reviews, competitive trends, etc)
- To share responsibility with management for developing new revenue streams
- To demonstrate sound understanding of online trading (potential conflicts, issues and solutions)
- To provide timely accurate billings projections when requested
- To assist in the development of and participation in selling agency services (through internal inductions, external marketing departments, etc)
- To have a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing
- To be commercially aware and financially astute
Skills Required
- You should have drive to achieve results in a friendly manner but at the same time maintain quality and standards
- You should have the ability to absorb and impart factual information to others and work within standard operating procedures
- Ideally the person fulfilling the role will have specialist/technical skills and will work within an area of knowledge and expertise
- Communication, the need to enjoy challenging situations and a systematic and perfectionist approach to problems are integral to the function
- The ideal person for this position will be positive, participative, self-confident, friendly, self-starting, competitive, inquisitive, imaginative, factual, consistent and somewhat conventional and self-disciplined
- You may prove to be a cautious decision maker due to the need for perfection and getting things right
- The candidate should have experience of being a stand-alone client handler being the primary contact on a substantial piece of business, whilst simultaneously juggling a number of other medium size pieces of business
- The ideal candidate will come from a media agency with substantial experience
- Ideally, you will understand the wider media landscape actively understanding the clients integrated approach and business aims
- Have experience of managing a small team and have an abundance of client facing experience and skills
- Ambitious, fun with a ‘work hard play hard’ attitude
