SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, the Digital Sales Specialist focuses efforts on increasing advertising for the Company’s digital properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Focus on National Digital Agencies:
· Acts as point person for qualifying prospects, creating leads, generating RFP’s at all national digital agencies.
· Leverages existing relationships to create leads and qualify prospects.
· Generates new business and crafts compelling value propositions.
· Works in conjunction with the manager, online marketing group etc. to deliver meaningful, targeted digital presentations.
· Grows sales performance and other key metrics through sales and marketing promotions.
· Responsible for closing national business at digital agencies and for attaining agency budgets.
Focus on General Market Agencies:
· Assists Account Executives in creating online opportunities, generating RFPs from general market agencies, and closing national online business.
· Targets accounts and identifies online decision makers.
· Qualifies prospects, creates leads and work in tandem with assigned agency Account Executive.
· Supports development of Online and TV cross platform marketing opportunities with assigned agency Account Executive.
· Supports the retention and growth of existing national digital business at general market national agencies.
· Seeks and cultivates relationships to create leads and qualify prospects from the online side as the existing Account Executive would work from the TV side.
Focus on Endemic Sales:
· Assists Account Executives with limited endemic support.
· Captures and conveys online marketplace information and competitive data to Ad Sales team.
· Helps foster the continued development and digital growth of the sales team.
· Acts as liaison between Company’s Marketing and Account Executives.
Additional Job Duties:
· Provides regular reports and updates on specific national digital agency and account activity to manager.
· Provides timely updates to various parties as required.
· Performs other duties as required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Generally requires a minimum of two (2) years of sales experience; progressively responsible digital ad industry experience in a digital agency strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, or equivalent experience required.

· Skilled at prospecting accounts and identifying online decision makers
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven and constantly changing environment while maintaining accuracy is critical
· Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and understand when to escalate potential issues
