Position Description:
As a key member of PIMCO's Digital Media Group dedicated to supporting the Global Wealth Management (GWM) market, the GWM Digital Specialist will partner closely with the Marketing Communications team to develop and deploy high quality, highly effective digital solutions that support our initiatives, products and strategies. This role will be responsible for driving PIMCO's digital vision on how to best reach advisors in ways that keep us consistently ahead of our competitors.

PIMCO, a leading global investment manager, is known as an investment authority and our digital presence has grown into an invaluable resource for our clients, advisors, and the public. This is a new role developed to support our growing GWM business and will report to the Head of the Digital Media Group and the Digital Director of Digital Strategy, Global Wealth Management and Funds in mid-town Manhattan. The Digital Media Group is part of PIMCO's Global Marketing Communications function. The Global Wealth Management team is responsible for supporting the advisory distribution business at PIMCO.

Responsibilities:
• Help drive the vision on how to best reach advisors through digital channels. Develop and recommend a multi-year corporate GWM strategy, plans and roadmap, including social media, CRM segmentation and use of Mobile technologies.
• Provide subject matter expertise to business to ensure that digital is fully integrated with other parts of the marketing mix to provide a seamless experience to our audience.
• Proactively create and champion new digital initiatives to more fully leverage PIMCO's digital presence.
• Understands customer experience issues, content organization and management, navigation schemes and labeling, and page-level information design.
• Leverage web 2.0, social media and other digital opportunities.
• Collaborate with business, technology and client-facing colleagues to ensure critical communications are developed and updated.
• Work closely with the Global Wealth Management Marketing Communications group to ensure that digital opportunities are incorporated into Marcomm initiatives effectively.
• Develop and run programs to increase visitor acquisition, engagement conversion metrics
• Direct the efforts of team members and vendors, including creative resources such as design, and production.
• Benchmark competitors to ensure PIMCO stays current with developing digital strategies and stays abreast of best practices.

Position Requirements:
Qualifications and Attributes:
• 5 - 7 years' experience in digital marketing function
• Website content and/or project management experience
• Financial services industry background required
• Interpersonal skills at all organizational levels

• Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
