Director, National Labor Relations, Operations Oakland, CA Essential Functions: Supports, leads and coordinates all Labor Relations activities occurring within National Leadership Team functions, to include national initiatives, in support of collective bargaining activity as well as day to day labor relations and LMP activities. Coordinates all work with Regional LR functions as necessary. Lead or co-lead bargaining, or provide direction to bargaining activities for national functions. Leads or provides direction to, and coordinates all Labor Relations activities occurring in regional/customer area assignments related to NLT functions. Aligns with regional and national LR/HR activities and strategies. Applies effective interpersonal and formal presentation skills, and builds trust with key stakeholders to influence optimal organizational outcomes. Develops a thorough understanding of the National Agreement between Kaiser Permanente and the CKPU and local collective bargaining agreements for the assigned region/customer area. Establishes relationships with key regional and national stakeholders to understand operational and strategic objectives. Maintains broad knowledge of the unique needs of the region/customer area. Exerts influence as needed to coordinate regional and national labor and business objectives. Requirements
