Description: - Directional Driller - Wyoming (1207205) Job Description Directional Driller - Wyoming ( Job Number: 1207205) Role Synopsis At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible for providing solutions at the well site by taking into consideration and reviewing a variety of factors relating to directional drilling services. Working under general supervision, this position will rely on hands-on experience and classroom based training. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Under general supervision, provide resolution to problems of a moderately complex scope at the well site by analyzing situations and data requires. Exercise judgment to determine the appropriate action at the well site by using previous experience and classroom based training of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Recognize the operational status of field equipment at the well site and maintain it when appropriate. Execute other related duties as assigned. Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Industry experience and product line training required. Desired/Preferred Qualifications Two year Technical or Undergraduate Degree. Demonstrated proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of assigned Directional System services at the well site. Successful completion of advanced technical training and assigned well site development programs. Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to work well and communicate in a team environment. Other Details Applicant must live or relocate within designated region. This position is 24 hour on-call with 100% travel within a designated region.
