Posted Position Title: Director Cash Simplification Career Level: Experienced Function Finance Function Segment: Treasury Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Connecticut City: Stamford Postal Code: 06905-3417 Relocation Assistance Yes Role Summary/Purpose: As part of GE Treasurys global operations team, this role will support Treasurys effort to improve Cash ICF operations, procedures and process capabilities across Finance, Legal, Tax, Cash Mgmt. and Operations. In this role, the individual will be expected to design and execute a range of projects to formalize the governance infrastructure and strengthen process capabilities for transactions intersecting cash intercompany funding. Essential Responsibilities Essential Functions - Lead the cross functional integration between Cash ICF Finance to enable the development design of the to be In House Bank (IHB) infrastructure (Sub-ledger development, control design/testing, reporting). - Define lead multiple strategic projects to streamline cash process architecture increase cost efficiency, customer service controllership - Lead the assessment of current systems infrastructure against to be requirements to build out a systems process development plan - Support the design of the accounting infrastructure by partnering primarily with Finance and IT by building out detailed requirements, leading design and development and managing the UAT and implementation process. - Conduct design workshops with broad range of stakeholders to translate to be procedures into specific process and infrastructure projects. - Build communication packages for stakeholders outside of Treasury; for example, the Recovery and Resolution work-stream Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related areas of study and at least 5 years of project leadership experience in financial services industry - Proven experience in managing complex projects and seeing them through full completion and execution - Demonstrated success in designing and building new processes driving simplification Eligibility Qualifications: - Must submit your application for employment through gecareers.com to be considered (Internals via COS) - Must be 18 years or older - Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check. - Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States - Must be willing to work out of an office in Stamford, CT - MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT.
