Swedish Graphic Designer Perm. Job in Swords, Dublin Ireland
My client is the world's largest multichannel video game retailer. Their retail network and family of brands include 6,500 company-operated stores in 17 countries worldwide and they recently opened a new head quarter in Swords (Dublin).
The Role will be 80% website design/ development and 20% design for print. The Web/ Graphic Designer should have the ability to create print-ready artwork.
Requirements:
•Consistently deliver creative design solutions for on-line, digital, interactive environments and in store P.O.S.
•Maintaining and evolving the existing e-commerce website and the new UK site planned for 2011.
•Ability to interpret business and marketing concepts and convert them into persuasive visual communication.
•Deliver design projects on schedule and of high quality.
•Ensure brand consistency across all design work.
•Report regularly on project progress to team members.
The Person:
•Fluency in written and spoken English and Swedish with excellent interpersonal and
communication skills.
•2 Years plus experience in Web Design.
•1 year experience in Graphic Design for print.
•Proficient in Quark, Illustrator and Photoshop.
•Experience with Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Flash essential.
•Advanced working knowledge of HTML/CSS/ JavaScript required.
•SEO Experience preferred.
•Proven aptitude for generating creative, attractive design concepts using all elements of graphic design.
•Capability to work within tight deadlines and changing priorities to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
•Excellent attention to detail required.
•Good Team Player.
•The ability to take direction and criticism professionally.
•An interest and knowledge of games would be a distinct advantage.
