Department Overview:
This is a new role within the Fitch Group to develop a global programme of investor development and research promotion. You will be responsible for managing Fitch’s relationship with the global fixed-income investor community.
The team is tasked with raising the profile of Fitch research and ratings commentary to all market constituents and encouraging a greater investor engagement with Fitch ratings, research, products and services. This increase in profile and engagement will be quantified by a broad range of metrics.

Overview
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for a portfolio of High Yield accounts in EMEA and will be tasked with the following:
- Overall leadership and coordination for your accounts, creating excellent relationships with key decision makers within those organisations
- Research commentary promotion
- Coordinating and communicating with colleagues across the globe
Specific Responsibilities
- Develop maintain new and existing buy-side relationships through meetings, calls, road-shows and events, liaising closely with investor development colleagues in other jurisdictions to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to outreach activities across each firm
- Identify key HY investment firms individuals of strategic importance to the Fitch Group
- Build global profiles for the portfolio of key HY investment firms, ensuring they receive the full range of Fitch products/research/outreach to match their investment profile. Become the expert on those organisations and their rating agency views and requirements.
- Facilitate direct market access to Fitch Leveraged Finance analysts to deliver detailed sector credit views and answer investor queries
- Communicate high level Fitch strategy and positioning statement
- Develop and execute visibility campaigns for Fitch Group´s ratings, commentary, products services to increase market engagement with Fitch
- Systematic, process-driven HY research promotion
- Generate revenue opportunities by inspiring investor demand for Fitch ratings and pre-selling/promoting subscriptions, product services
- Contribute to the overall research strategy of Fitch based on investor feedback
- Recommend topics for research and events
- Develop strong partnerships across internal groups (sector/region)
- Fitch Solutions - products and services
- Coordinate investor activity with the broader BRM group to ensure objectives are aligned
- Close liaison with Strategic Data Analytics (‘SDA') feeding market information to that group and acting on SDA analysis and recommendations
- Strong coordination with the Marcom team, ensuring effectively targeted campaigns
Person Specification:
- An understanding of the HY and CLO marketplace would be advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long term relationships
- An understanding of fixed income investment strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
