My client is a mid sized boutique global corporate advisor, ECM capital raiser and equity research house that separates itself from the other global players by being client focused, driving a consistent message and being nimble. With global footprint across the US, Europe and the UK they have significant client reach. It has managed to attract some of the best known people local in the market and they are selectively adding to their Equity Sales capability focused around Resources/Energy. It is a preference that this person will have the ability to take over the reigns to run the Equity Sales function in Sydney in the short term.

Reporting to the Head of Equity Sales your role will be unique, varied and include selling ideas and research from rated analysts in both the resources, energy and eventually the mining services sectors to institutional funds within the Australian region; holding corporate relationships with clients for any corporate information flow that will be fed to other areas of this business.

You will have held a senior Institutional Equity Sales position within one of the global investment banks or boutiques in the Australian market. At this stage we are not considering overseas applicants as we’re targeting candidates with strong local institutional relationships.
