Director- AML PMO Program

Responsibilities:

• Act as workstream lead: direct Program Management activities and the quality of regulatory deliverables for company’s Global Anti-Money Laundering Program Management Office.  Asses Program Plans and progress to deliver concise and consolidated reports on program milestones.

• Evaluate the effectiveness and regulatory conformance of AML functionality within investment and consumer banking businesses as well as key infrastructure areas including operations, technology, compliance and audit.  Raise questions and Ideas with Stakeholders to drive complete adherence with OCC requirements and appropriate execution of these plans.

• Gain complete understanding of AML Program scope to ensure best practices are implemented across entire project life-cycle including project planning, risk identification, dependency tracking and change management.  Resolve issues where appropriate or escalate to senior management if necessary.

• Report on programs to Senior Management, company board and relevant regulatory audiences.

• Interact regularly with Program owners, Project Managers in all functions as well as several global stakeholders in businesses across North America, Latin America, Asian, and EMEA Businesses.   Create presentations for senior management and manage meetings for issue escalation and resolution for regulatory reports.

• Assist Stakeholders in the Tollgate and ARR Validation process to ensure tollgate evidence and deliverables are logical, structured and complete Work with Program Sponsor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, economics, business or related function with a minimum of 5 years related experience at a top-tier management consultancy or relevant position at a large global FS institution. 

• Top 20 MBA highly preferred. 

• Experience running workstreams, Program Management activities and delivering intelligent reports to management and driving results adhering with industry best practices.

• Demonstrated experience supporting operations, technology or compliance functions within a global environment crossing several regional businesses

• Exposure to AML highly sought though not required.
