Director, Asset Management (Responsible Officer Type 9)
Responsibilities:
lReport to CEO directly
lResponsible for setup and monitor of the business daily operations for the entire Asset Management Division, ensuring operational workflow and systems are efficient and complied with SFC rules
lBeing the Person in Charge of the fund product set up and launching; Liaise with lawyers regarding fund documents; Liaise with service providers include administrator, custodian, brokers and auditors;
lGeneral Office Management Strategic Management Planning, Manpower planning and hiring
lManage and review the Asset Management Division in accounting, administration, custody, settlement and cash management capacity.
lAs a member of Investment Committee to decide on the allocation of investments to the funds. Conduct operational due diligence of underlying funds.
lWork with Board of Directors on operational and marketing issues concerning the fund.
lAct as the main Contact person for the firm and dealing directly with the external investors
Requirement:
lBachelor Degree or Master Degree holder in Finance or Business Management
lAt least 12 years of experience in Financial industry, preferably gained in Asset Management
lSFC licensed Responsible Officer Type 9 is a must
lFamiliar with the setup procedures of an Asset Management Division
lFluency of written and spoken English and Chinese is a must (Mandarin)
lDemonstrated organizational savvy to work effectively across perceived organizational boundaries in a heavily matrixed organization;
lMature and a team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to different level of staff, including senior management
