Director, Capital Management, New Products/Structured Trades Advisory
Unique opportunity to contribute to the build out of a new remit in the EMEA region, focusing on capital advisory and transaction support. The candidate will join the International Capital Management team, and involve close partnership with Lines Of Business, Risk local CFO teams on the ground in EMEA, as well as with specialist teams in the US.
The candidate will need to build strong proactive working relationships across ranks, functions countries to operate effectively.
Role content
The role encompasses all aspects relating to facing off to the Lines of Business in the EMEA region, with a focus on an advisory focus on new products, structured trades and efficient hedging strategies to optimise capital / RWAs.
This will entail managing numerous deliveries with varying timelines whilst demonstrating appropriate challenge and due diligence
The candidate will work in partnership with the local CFO team, heads of business and CVA trading desk in EMEA as a support function and need to liaise closely with US teams for policy guidance and to ensure enterprise consistency.
There will be a key training education element to ensure consistent company wide training and knowledge sharing in the region.
Additionally, the candidate will work with Policy for regulatory capital advice and interpretation, including new product and business initiatives approval, and be required to demonstrate appropriate challenge and due diligence.
Candidates must have knowledge of structured products, product valuation or risk quantification essential. Good knowledge of Basel capital regulations also essential with credit/market risk knowledge.
