Director – Education recruitment
FIIG Securities Limited is the largest fixed income specialist in Australia with offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Substantial growth has created an exciting opportunity for a Director – Education to join our national team.
Responsible for direction, coordination, development and improvement of all fixed income education programs and events nationally, this role will work closely with the Marketing, Fixed Income Sales and Research teams in each state including regular client facing responsibilities.
This role will:
- Drive, Coordinate and Deliver Seminars Webinars nationally
- Develop, drive and implement Educational projects for new and existing products
- Develop video content for the internet site
- Update The Australian Guide to Fixed Income
- Work with associations such as AFMA, FINSIA, SPAA and similar.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to deliver Marketing initiatives such as Eureka Congress
- Work with asset consultants to educate on what FIIG does and how we can help their clients.
- Monitor, review and report on all Educational activity
- Display (and promote) leadership, professionalism and integrity to FIIG employees and clients.
The ideal candidate will bring to FIIG:
- A proven track record in the Fixed Income market as a product specialist, interacting with clients.
- Sales and/or Research background
- First class presentation skills
- A history of public speaking, ideally in an educational environment.
- A great ability to write clearly, to a wide range of audiences with vastly different levels of expertise in Fixed Income.
- CA/CFA/Masters of Applied Finance
