Director External Manager Selection recruitment
The Director of External Manager Selection, will be reporting directly to the CIO and responsible for structuring and leading the process for the fund.
Responsibilities:
- Defining the qualitative and quantitative selection criteria and setting-up an internal selection process for external manger selction
- Present results and recommendations to the CIO and the Investment Committee
- Perform due-diligence and onsite visits of selected managers
- Co-ordinate drafting manager agreements and negotiate fee structures
- Set up performance monitoring and internal recommendations process
Background:
- Significant experience in asset management of long-only funds or alternative assets
- Strong background of hands-on external manager selection, especially for institutional investors
- Money management experience can be an advantage
- Fluency in English is required and Arabic knowledge can be an advantage
- Additional professional qualifications like the CFA and CAIA will be an advantage
- Strong academic background, with a MSc in Economics or a related subject
