Director, Finance Transformation & Performance Improvement

This role is to run, manage and grow our clients practice in Financial Management and Transformation:

The director is will be part of the overall management team for Europe and EMEA and will be responsible for the practice in terms of winning work, leading the marketing and sales campaign in this space.

The director will further be responsible for the development of staff in this area both in terms of on the job training, further training and education and the well being of staff in close cooperation with HR. You will also be responsible for the semi-annual evaluations of staff and their performance.

Our client puts a lot of emphasis on the development of our consultants and staff within the firm.

As part of the management group the director will also be responsible for the budget and deliverables of budget and assignments as part of the collective leadership group, both for his/her functional area and for the entire practice.

The director will be targeted on generating 1 million in sales.

Qualifications, Experience and Education

-We are looking for a consultant he/she also has operational experience from business/manufacturing or another operational role besides professional service experience.
- Background as accountant/auditor or other financial experience, to enable them to understand the more detailed aspects of financial accounting, P/L, balance sheets, controlling, reconciliations, treasury, controlling and the inner-workings of smaller and larger finance departments both in the UK and abroad.
- Minimum 10 to 12 year experience including as an adviser and/or consultant with big four or an equivalent organisation
- Able to market, sell and close professional service projects/assignments on their own.
- Able to motivate and develop staff and be an inspiration for their work and further development.
- Ability to speak foreign languages (French,German ) would be a big advantage.
