Our client, a fully integrated financial institution, is at the forefront of cash and treasury management and liquidity solutions. They are seeking a Regional Global Solution Manager to join their growing Asian business.
Key role and responsibilities
• Your key focus is to work closely with the global sales team to identify new client segments, understand their liquidity management needs and design the optimal solutions for them from a local, regional and global perspective.
• Work closely with regional sales colleagues to pitch for regional and global mandates and manage these accounts
• Prepare client Request For Proposal (RFP) and client presentations
• Perform deal sizing analysis and recommend appropriate pricing
• Ensure proper implementation of the deal is completed as well as active deal follow-up
• Also you will work with regional/ global liquidity product managers on new/ enhanced liquidity product offerings covering prioritization of product deliveries
• Provide sound advise on client's concerns e.g. tax implications, in-country regulatory requirements and other associated risks that arise from liquidity structures
• Responsible to carve out the marketing strategy for Global Liquidity and Investment team in Asia and be an active spokesperson for the bank at industry related events
• Initiate cross-selling proposition with other departments (eg. Trade advisory team) to instill cross-sell of cash products to trade clients
• Rollout and commercialization of new/ enhanced liquidity products in Asia
Qualifications and Skills
• Degree in Business or equivalent disciplines
• Knowledge of global liquidity management practices including cross border, cross currency structures
• Prior liquidity/ treasury experience with in a Multi National Corporate or international bank
• Familiarity with the associated legal/ regulatory/ tax/ credit considerations is a plus
• Strong understanding of client requirements in the broader Transaction Banking area
• Ability to work to tight timelines and at the same time produce quality deliverables
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• English is a must, other languages are a plus
• 7+ years of banking experience in a liquidity product management/ development or advisory role
