Director, In House M&A, FTSE 100 recruitment
Outstanding opportunityirector to join the 'In House' Mergers and Acquisitions team of this FTSE 100 business at a key moment in their growth and development
Our client is a FTSE 100 consumer facing business, and one of the most successful global names in their sector. They are now looking to recruit a Director to their In House MA team who will assist the Global Director with the execution of deals.
This will focus on the execution of MA efforts for the business, defining key processes for MA screening and execution, in close partnership with the strategy team and working closely with the regions and support/execute deals where required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Working on the execution of MA activity
- Based on desired strategic ambitions, building plans to proactively engage with targets.
- Build key relationships with global/UKbased MA bankers
- Working closely with regional resources
- Developing a comprehensive and joined-up bid for acquisitions
- Deal execution and the technical execution of deals
- Liaising with internal and external lawyers, MA bankers, accountants
They are interested in meeting with people who will have a background as follows:
- Investment bankers at the Director or Executive Director level, probably with at least 10 years minimum deal experience
- Director level corporate development professionals from other FTSE companies
- Director level private equity professionals from leading funds
- Candidates must have substantial deal execution experience and be able to project manage significant deals
