Senior Marketing and Research Analyst (Plan for Life-Australia) recruitment

Position Summary

Essential Job Functions

A. Support Plan For Life marketing activities for current and new products

  1. Identify new potential clients. E.g. Industry Funds, Public Sector Super, Corporate Super, Consultants, Analysts, Institutional Wholesale Investment Managers, Retail Managers, Dealer Groups.
  2. Identify new opportunities with existing clients.
  3. Undertake market intelligence gathering.
  4. Instigate contact for new sales opportunities and implement marketing campaigns.
  5. Respond to sales opportunities and follow PFL sales procedures and guidelines.
  6. Conduct sales presentations, demonstrations and training sessions. e.g. Simfund Dash
  7. Build relationships with clients based on highly responsive customer service focus.
  8. Travel (interstate/international) as required for meetings and presentations.

B. Support Plan For Life data collection processes, reporting and analysis functions.

  1. Responsibility for producing existing reports and analysis.
  2. Responsibility for creating new product processes, data collection, reports, and analysis.
  3. Develop expertise covering Strategic Insight Global reports and Strategic Insight Global activities.
  4. Regular reporting to senior management and interface with personnel at all levels and across the Asset International business.

C. Undertake new research and analysis

  1. Help develop Strategic Insight and Plan For Life analytical and reporting solutions.
  2. Research industry trends and turn that research into client ready content either through articles, reports or webcasts.
  3. Develop a research program on the Australian funds industry.

Reports to:   Manager, Marketing and Product Development (Plan For Life)

Education:    Bachelor degree. Masters degree in finance or related discipline preferred.

Experience:  Minimum five years working in the financial industry, funds management or life insurance with customer service, marketing and analytical responsibilities.
