DIRECTOR, IS PMO Job in Clearwater, Florida US
The Director of IS Project Project Management Office is accountable for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of BayCare IS projects through consistent application of sound project management priciples. The Director is specifically responsbile for managing all aspects associated with the creation and implemetation of office including staffing and general oversight of BayCare IS project activities, building a department that promotes a common culture, methodology and supporting tools, creating a system of sharing of best practices cross-functionally, training and support to project managers deployed throughout the organization, consulting with key internal and external customers to determine needs, deploy resources and manage critical deliverables, executive level project portfolio status reporting on budget key issues and organizational value.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Master’s Degree preferred. PMO certification preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Ten years project management and five years healthcare IS.
