Director, Mergers and Acquisitions, FTSE 100 recruitment
Our client is a major international business, who are now looking to add a Director to their in house MA team. The position, reporting to the global head of MA, will involve the execution of deals and joint ventures for the firm globally.
In this role, you can expect to project manage and lead significant acquisitions for the group. This will involve meeting potential investee companies, meeting management, carrying out due diligence, structuring the deals, negotiation and valuations, and working on the intergration of the acquisition once made. You will need to work independently for significant periods of time.
Candidates will have significant amounts of experience within mergers and acquisitons, and have a significant track record of closing deals. This may have been gained in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development in another firm. You will probably have at least ten - fifteen years experience
