Director – Money Market Sales recruitment
Our client is a market leading large international bank with ambitious plans for growth both domestically and internationally in the coming years. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team with fantastic short and long term career prospects.
You will be a key component of the Funding Division, focussing on the expansion and diversification of the customer base from which cash is taken. Primary currencies involved are GBP, EUR and USD.
It is likely that the ideal candidate will have had a background in international and cross border money markets and be familiar with central banks, sovereign wealth funds, banks, fund managers and other financial institutions as well as major corporate and public bodies including local authorities.
Candidates should have:
- Strong understanding of main global money markets
- A provable track record in achieving targets and budgets
- Experience in money markets roles working for a major bank or financial institution
- A track record of working with the following products; Term Deposits, Call Accounts, Certificates of Deposit (CDs) and Commercial Paper (CP) issuance.
- Understanding of how to put together innovative products such as puttables and extendables.
- A large network of contacts in relevant positions at real money counterparties and customers including Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Fund Managers.
At least one other European language would be advantageous.
