Director Multinational Origination recruitment

The role will involve:

• Origination of large-ticket bilateral loans or syndicated loans MLA opportunities from such MNC’s focusing on cash flow deals, Asset-Based Lending (“ABL’s”), capex loans, loans secured by equipment, securitization-lite.

• Work with European as well as other teams e.g. in North America or Asia to leverage existing relationships

• Work with global teams to structure cross-border / global offers to customers and transform leads into regional or global opportunities

• Partner with Marketing team to determine target customer universe and relevant customer screenings / prospect generation tools, prioritize coverage among potential target customers

• Manage the customer and coordinate the approval and execution of deals once mandated (the actual credit and execution work until closing being left with the Risk team however)

• Work with capital market teams to upsize and syndicate transactions

• Recommend adjustments to customer universe, existing product features and new product introductions (NPI’s)

• Contribute to sales force effectiveness, including by appropriate use of systems and tools, coverage of leads generated by Marketing and agreed with Leadership on top of self-generated leads/relationships

 

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationship with international customers

• Existing relationships with European MNC’s.

• Dynamic, self- motivated, performance-oriented, persistent.

• Good knowledge of structured finance products, especially asset-based lending, AR securitization, cash flow loans and complex cross-border large-ticket transactions

• Outstanding origination skills, combined with a good understanding of risk and structured products and good analytical skills

• Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with diverse internal and external constituencies – in particular marketing and Risk functions – in a multi-cultural environment, as well as to motivate organizations

• Strong presentation and pitching skills; committed to pitch customers

• Demonstrated ability to create, develop and implement new ideas and strategies

• A past professional experience in both Europe and Asia would be a plus

• Based in Singapore and able to travel throughout Asia and to Europe on a regular basis

• Fluency in oral and written English; fluency in an additional European language such as French or German would be a plus
