Director of Acquisitions recruitment

Candidate is expected to lead efforts to identify target companies for acquisition based on company strategies and criteria and will initiate independent direct contact with potential selling companies. Ideal candidate will lead due diligence investigations, prepare and negotiate letters of intent and plan/assist with deal documents, deal negotiations and the execution of definitive agreements.

Candidate will be responsible for the management of the Operating Company Acquisition Team, and will assist in the valuation and investment decisions for the Venture Investment Team. Candidate will also support the Operating Company Operations Team with strategy development and execution.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in sourcing, managing and negotiating acquisition transactions, strong research, financial/analytical skills and strong working knowledge of MA valuation. A self-starter, creativity, energetic thinking and strong interpersonal skills are preferred. Candidate must have strong leadership and demonstrated managerial skills. A Bachelor’s degree is required with MBA and/or CFA preferred.
