Director of Business Development & M&A (Beijing-based)
Reporting to the Head of Asia Head of Business Development, you will be supporting executive decision making on strategic matters, as well as be required to help identify and look for potential acquisitions and business development opportunities across the North Asia region.
As one of the key personnel in the Asia region, you will be leading the North Asia team on corporate MA transactions through execution of acquisitions and disposals, including valuation/financial impact, contract negotiations, transactions structuring, due diligence and obtaining all relevant internal and external approvals.
Qualifications
1) Degree qualified in a finance, accounting or quantitative discipline
2) Min of 8 years relevant work experience either in a Corporate Finance team of a financial institution; an internal corporate development team of a global corporate or a private equity setup
3) Good track record and relevant deal experience in the natural resources sector including strategic fit assessment, putting together/ reviewing offers, due diligence, valuation/ financial impact, structuring, negotiations and pre/ post completion tasks.
4) Strong communication skills
5) Mandarin speaking skills is mandatory
