Director of Finance - Investments, Investors
Primary Objectives:
Working closely with the Head of FPA and other senior level staff, this role plays an integral part in the governance of the investment committee process. In this role, you will be responsible for chairing the investment committee for Investors business, facilitating effective decision-making and leading capital process as well as acting as a liaison with Technology organization. This role will be based out of our offices in New York and specific responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Investment Strategy:
- Chair Investors investment committee including:
- Create, maintain and impose policies and procedures for the investment Governance.
- Facilitate decision making on "How best to invest".
- Lead senior leadership team through investment decisions.
- Create business plans / presentations for investment opportunities(product development, commercial packaging, client third party deals, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures) including providing tracking, analysis and recommendations for investment decisions to include fully allocated product profitability.
Capital Metrics:
- Responsible for business case review.
- Develop a capital allocation methodology for Investors business segments.
- Capital and Depreciation Amortization forecasting and planning.
Technology organization Liaison:
- Liaise with Technology organization on the technology allocations.
- Influence technology cost reductions.
Other Support:
- Provide support for Partnership process including business cases, approvals and tracking.
- Partner with business segments on a broad range of projects.
- Help support Platform strategy.

Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required plus 10 years progressive development and experience in applicable business roles.
- Strongly Preferred: MBA or Master's degree Finance or Accounting and/or CPA.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to synthesize and present complex data.
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze and communicate competitive strategies, business trends, performance trends against plan, market trends, internal resource requirements and other factors in a clear concise manner.
- Ability to develop and deliver formal presentations to senior management and large groups in a professional, concise and direct manner.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage relationships and influence decisions.
