Director of Fixed Income, Alpha Team recruitment
The Role:
The Director of Fixed Income will be responsible for interviewing and evaluating investment managers, building and maintaining a knowledge base of investment managers and rating managers in our proprietary Manager Research Ranking (MR^2) system. They will also be responsible for drafting research notes on investment managers, recommending best-in-class investment managers to our consultants and clients; attending client meetings; performing essential data collection as well as running analytics to analyze investment portfolios. This position offers a terrific opportunity to gain broad exposure to and understanding of the investment management industry.
The Requirements:
Five to eight years of relevant work experience including fixed income. MBAs or CFA charter holders, with a strong interest in finance and investments, are preferred. We are looking for people with excellent verbal and written communication skills complemented with strong analytical skills. Working knowledge of economics and statistics is required. Candidates must possess high quality control standards and time management skills; must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines; and must be comfortable conducting one-on-one meetings with investment managers.
