Director of International Mobility, APAC – Financial Services recruitment

Our client is a market leader in the global financial services sector. Due to growth and expansion in the region, the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre global mobility / expatriate management professional, to be based in their regional head office in Hong Kong.

Reporting into the Global Head of Expatriate Management, this role will be responsible for aligning the regional Mobility function and building a professional, centralized department. Acting as the regional mobility expert, you will provide international assignment and relocation advice to staff moving across the Asia Pacific region. You will advise on policies, remuneration, tax and general relocation issues. Working on a consultative basis, you will interface with the senior executives to understand their headcount requirements and organisational structure changes as well liaising with counterparts in Europe and third party service providers such as property agents and shipping firms.

The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of experience gained within Global Mobility/Expatriate Management, ideally working within blue chip, international organisations. A strong relationship builder and communicator, you will enjoy working with a broad range of people across different locations and cultures and have proven project and change management experience. Fluency in English is essential.
