Director of Regulatory Capital Management
Position Description:
• Develop and maintain 3 year capital forecasts that are fully synchronized with the corporate earnings and balance sheet projections
• Execute regular stress tests of capital adequacy, including projections under various macroeconomic scenarios
• Coordinate with key Treasury, Risk, Finance and line of business partners to improve forecasting accuracy and consistency
• Improve granularity and accuracy of risk-weighted asset forecasting process
• Reconcile monthly regulatory reporting results with forecasts
• Partner with subsidiary entities to develop detailed capital plans including future capital requirements and dividend opportunities
• Produce standard ad hoc sensitivity and scenario analysis (e.g. asset/LOB sales)
• Produce standard ad hoc peer capital analysis (e.g. capital levels, capital composition)
• Coordinate executive and management committee materials pertaining to regulatory capital
• Work with key contacts at the Federal Reserve, FDIC and U.S. Treasury
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
• At least 5 years in Corporate Finance or Corporate Treasury, Financial Services experience is preferred
• Recent experience in regulatory capital strongly preferred
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
