This position is to coordinate the management of our rental processes to include fixed and remote inventory management, review, negotiation and implementation of the terms and conditions of contracts while working with our sales professionals for both domestic and international customers on lease, rental, services agreements, and equipment repurchase.
Job Description:
Conduct initial contract review for acceptance of proposed/negotiated price, and other terms and conditions. Compare contracts against Hoover standards to ensure adequate protection against inherent risks. Prepare responses with the objective of negotiating an acceptable work agreement that is in compliance with Hoover contract policies and procedures. Manage all administrative processes within the rental department to include profitability, costing and forecasting of business unit.
Assist in implementation of new rental business systems and processes.
Serve as the primary point of contact with our sales organization, meet with them to discuss progress, quality, costs, or other contractual performance and adherence issues and present Company’s position in contract negotiations and disputes.
Gather pricing data and prepare contract change pricing, submits to the customer and assists in negotiation with sales organization.
Maintain master file of rental inventory by updating database of (new rentals) sales, DOT certifications, maintenance, and inspections of rental fleet.
Provide information sales and management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Manage (2) employees of rental department.
Certify cleaning facilities and other third party services deemed necessary for operations of the rental operations.
Job Qualifications:
Business Knowledge: Five plus years of experience in capital equipment rental services management, or medium and long term equipment leasing, preferably including oilfield equipment rental or leasing.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively (strong written skills required) to all levels of the organization.
Customer Service Orientation: Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and approach every challenge and opportunity with a customer-centric view.
Planning and Organization and Teamwork: Ability to see what needs to be done.
Problem solving: Ability to apply sound analytical skills.
Contract term and conditions negotiation skill set desired.
Background in rental IT systems selection and implementation a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
