Positioned at Director level, you will report into the Head of Op Risk for one of the most profitable business lines of this bank. Your role will be an internal consulting role, with the key benefit that you can watch the culture and the business evolve under your influence. Key elements to your success will be:
- Thought leadership on cutting edge risk management techniques, tools and systems
- Shaping of risk appetite, methodology and tools
- Development of critical internal and external relationships
- Leadership and mentoring of junior staff
This is the first time an opportunity of this impact and influence has been available in Melbourne for some time. Our clients are seeking people from a Top Tier Risk Consulting background with at least 10 years of experience. Your experience could have been acquired partly in Advisory and partly in an Industry which has real operational risk issues, such as financial services, mining, utilities or others. Given this level of experience, you will be either a Senior Manager or Director.
