Director, Recovery and Resolution Planning
Reporting to the Senior Officer in Charge of Recovery and Resolution Planning, the Director is responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of global Recovery and Resolution Plans to meet US regulatory requirements. This position is necessary for IOSCO PFMIs as a designated Systematically Important Financial Market Utility (SIFMU). The SIFMU designation requires the provision and filing of a Recovery and Resolution Plan (RRP) on an annual basis. The role will focus on making sure the resolution strategy is coherent and feasible given the business's value proposition and industry dynamics
Experience
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance – Masters or MBA preferred
• An in-depth familiarity with the businesses and service offerings of CME and the markets it serves
• Strong knowledge of CME's business and risk management philosophy
• A demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior business and support function leadership
• A willingness to challenge conventional thinking and assumptions and to constructively dissent when appropriate
• Strong project management as well as skills and leadership abilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must exhibit decisiveness, an ability to manage conflict, and proactivity
